Newton's Third Law of Motion
For every action, there is an equal and opposite reaction.
See the video below for some examples of this theory in real life.

The recoil of a cannon is due to Newton's Third Law of Motion. The force the cannon exerts on the cannon ball accelerating it out from the barrel is equal and opposite to the force the ball exerts on the cannon to recoil it backwards.

The rocket fuel produces hot gases which escape with a great force from the exhaust nozzle. The fuel pushes the gases out the back of the rocket or the missile and the gases propel the rocket or missile forward.

What about us? Or cars? How do we move forward?
It's the same theory!

Before the quiz, let's go through the key concepts of Newton's Laws of Motion again.
